Plans are already underway for the 2013 Uganda Outreach. The Uganda Outreach covers a lot of territory and, to be honest, is not for the faint-of-heart. You will be exposed to some of the world’s poorest people groups, see children who have been horribly neglected or abused, have an opportunity to minister inside prisons where some of the strongest believers are scheduled for execution within a short time, and so much more. Whether you’re a teacher, preacher, evangelist, or simply want to go to serve in any capacity needed, this trip is one you will never forget. While every team member goes to help bring relief and to offer hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not one has come back unchanged or unchallenged to do more. In 2012, a team was taken to South Sudan into an “unreached” people group who had no or very minimal exposure to the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a “frontier-mission” the team used creative ways to demonstrate Christ’s love while using practical methods of teaching the Gospel message in a way that was easily understood, all while praying that the Lord would open the eyes of the blind and soften the hearts of those hardened by false belief systems. While every team member goes to help bring relief and to offer hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not one has come back unchanged or unchallenged to do more. Heart of God Haiti
Applications are being accepted to join the May 2013 Outreach. The ministry in Haiti is primarily focused on the children at the Heart of God Children’s Center in Godet, yet there will be opportunities for evangelism and ministry outside the Center. Erin Corbett, Heart of God Haiti’s new missionary, is living at the Center on long-term assignment to Haiti as if January, 2013. She is assisting Pastor Justin with the children as well as teaching English as a second language to the children and others in the local community. Please feel free to download the 2013 Haiti Outreach (May) Application; follow the directions on the form and submit it with your deposit as soon as possible. An additional trip is being planned for later this year if the May Outreach fills up.
