Emily Nemeth: Uganda 2011 Team
Member at Sipi Falls

Heart of God East Africa: Uganda

Plans are already underway for the 2012 Uganda Outreach.  The Uganda Outreach covers a lot of territory and, to be honest, is not for the faint-of-heart.  You will be exposed to some of the world’s poorest people groups, see children who have been horribly neglected or abused, have an opportunity to minister inside prisons where some of the strongest believers are scheduled for execution within a short time, and so much more.  Whether you’re a teacher, preacher, evangelist, or simply want to go to serve in any capacity needed, this trip is one you will never forget.  While every team member goes to help bring relief and to offer hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not one has come back unchanged or unchallenged to do more.  This is truly a life-changing opportunity.  To view some pictures and learn more about the last trip to Uganda, please visit HGEA’s FaceBook page (click  here).  Denise Matthews is accepting applications from those interested in joining the 2012 team.  For more information or an application, please contact Denise directly at dmatthews@heartofgodinternational.org.

Heart of God East Africa: Sudan

Heart of God East Africa: Sudan 2012

Plans are also underway for the 2012 Sudan Outreach. The Sudan Outreach covers a lot of territory and, to be honest, is not for the faint-of-heart. You will be exposed to some of the world’s poorest people groups, see children who have been horribly neglected or abused, and so much more. This Outreach will focus on people who have had no or very minimal exposure to the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  As a “frontier-mission” the team will be using creative ways to demonstrate Christ’s love while using practical methods of teaching the Gospel message in a way that will be easily understood, all while praying that the Lord will open the eyes of the blind and soften the hearts of those hardened by culture and tribal belief systems.  While every team member goes to help bring relief and to offer hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not one has come back unchanged or unchallenged to do more. This is truly a life-changing opportunity. Denise Matthews is not accepting applications at this time since the team filled up quickly; however, if you’re interested and want to be put on a waiting list, please contact her directly.  For more information, please contact Denise at dmatthews@heartofgodinternational.org.

Pastor Dicksent with one of the children at Victory Center Orphanage

Heart of God Haiti

Preliminary plans are underway to bring small groups of team members to Haiti, hopefully beginning in 2012.  The ministry in Haiti is primarily focused on the children at the orphanage yet there will be opportunities for evangelism and ministry outside the compound.  HGIM’s Minister of Evangelism, Scott Ingram, will be on long-term assignment to Haiti beginning January, 2012.  He will be assisting Pastor Dicksent with the children and ministry in and around the compound.  Please watch this page as well as Haiti’s website (http://heartofgodhaiti.org) for further developments regarding mission team opportunities in Haiti.  If you would like more information, please feel free to contact David Young directly at dyoung@heartofgodinternational.org.

2011 India Outreach

Heart of God India

If you’re looking for an opportunity to serve while experiencing a life-changing trip, perhaps you should seriously pray about joining the 2012 team.  Testimonials from each of the 2011 Team Members tell of the many ways God moved through them and in them during this unique trip.  Village ministry. Children’s ministry. Women’s ministry. Crusades. Evangelism. Worship. Teaching. And so much more!  Please contact Jeanice McDade directly (jeanice@heartofgodinternational.org) for more information and/or to discuss opportunities available to you through the 2012 India Outreach.
