Heart of God International Ministries understands that believers everywhere, of all ages, have been given gifts for the sole purpose of bringing glory to God. Our hope is to make room for those who may or may not be directly connected to HGIM but who share a common passion and purpose in life.  The articles featured in this section highlight many such people from different cultures, nationalities, ages, and denominational backgrounds. However, they all have one thing in common … they have anchored their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and desire to bring Him glory by using the gifts and talents He has so graciously woven into their hearts.  We pray you will enjoy the different perspectives represented here.  If you have an article/blog post you would like to submit for publication, please contact us at hgim@heartofgodinternational.org.

Articles With F.O.C.U.S. on the Giver of Gifts

“…Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.” (Revelation 2:10 NIV)  Faithfulness in the face of persecution. Faithfulness when all seems to be falling apart. Faithfulness despite the obstacles. Determination. Focus. Resolve. Fortitude. Perseverance. The authors featured on this page are known for “Faithfulness” and more. Don’t miss the opportunity to be encouraged and challenged to remain faithful in the face of adversity.
“If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken. (Isaiah 1:19-20 NIV)  Obedience is often a word we’d prefer not to have to acknowledge. Yet, there are those across the globe who have chosen obedience over sacrifice. While many are satisfied to write a check or support their local church and consider themselves having fulfilled what was required of them, we applaud those who take the extra steps to follow Christ through obedience which often includes sacrifice.
“…or what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?”(2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV)  An interesting word … COMMUNION. While most would immediately think of the bread and wine, we challenge you to consider the uniqueness of the believer in Christ. Standing out against the backdrop of the darkness of this world, they share their stories of victory and triumph because they don’t blend in. Authors featured in F.O.C.U.S. can be seen as separate from the world while yet living in the world. Allow their lives to challenge you to do the same.
“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity…for there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.”(Psalm 133 NIV)  Unity. United. Unified. Unanimous. Unbound. Unstoppable. Uncommon. The oneness we have as believers in Christ Jesus is all of this and more. When we are in one accord, the Lord’s blessing is obvious. Whether neighbors in the same city or internet acquaintances from across the globe, we celebrate our unity in Christ as a family of believers under One Head for His glory alone.
“So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God.”(1 Corinthians 4:1 NIV)  The heart of a true servant is one that requires no accolades, no reward, no recognition. As servants of Christ, our motive ought always to be as that of a servant, requiring nothing yet giving all. Whether serving as an evangelist or pastor or ministering to the needs of others, whether offering a prayer for protection, a gift of support, or reaching out with loving arms to comfort the grieving, may the name of Jesus Christ be glorified through the heart of servants as those “entrusted with the secret things of God.
