<title>Comment on Scott Ingram: Law Breakers &#8230; &#8220;I thought that surely once the judge heard my side of the story that I would be let off, but that isn’t how things work in court. The judge only had one question for me&#8230;he didn’t care about my “but” once I had admitted to breaking the law.&#8221; by Scott</title>

<description>This is great Scott! Ray Comfort uses a similar scenario (though I don&#039;t think his is from real life experience! Haha!), where the Judge also happens to be the father of the perpetrator. Furthermore, the Judge also wrote the Law! It was His Standard of Righteousness for the community. So the Judge/Father is compelled to uphold the righteousness of His Law, while at the same time having His heart torn because He recogized the trouble incurred upon His son. As Judge, He dutifully declares the guilt of His son, but upon sentencing, He steps down from the bench and walks to the bailiff to take upon Himself His son&#039;s sentence.

This shows our Father&#039;s love for us. He is righteous by upholding the purity and unchangeableness of the Law; while at the same time He expresses His unwavering love for us by taking the punishment for our law breaking upon Himself.

Of course, our response to this display of love will demonstrate just how truly we understand the price our Master has paid. If we leave the courtroom and continue to wrecklessly perpetrate the same actions that necessitated our Father&#039;s severe price in the first place, that&#039;s evidence that we have not changed. On the other hand, if the price that has been paid for us truly effects us, the rest of our lives will be marked by applying ourselves to our Father&#039;s Law (Standard of Righteousness). We will come to realize that the righteousness that our Father desired to see in the community is actually for our good, and that our love for Him because of His love for us, demonstrated by His actions, is all that we need to prod us to live the righteousness He desired from us all along!

Thanks Scott!</description>

<title>Comment on Jan Ross: Unreached Peoples &#8230; &#8220;Jesus said we are the light of the world. Yet, there are still many areas in the world without light and living in darkness. As an &#8220;international&#8221; ministry, HGIM needs to do more to bring the light and life of Jesus Christ into people groups where there is no light. It is not only our desire to do more, it is a mandate from Heaven which we take very seriously, one we cannot ignore!&#8221; by christianoutreachnow.com - Jan Ross: Unreached Peoples … “Jesus said we are the light of the &#8230;</title>

<title>Comment on Today&#8217;s Devotion: Praise First! &#8230; &#8220;if we don&#8217;t see answered prayer, praise is often far from our lips, or secondary at the very best. This verse implies something quite different that we need to carefully consider.&#8221; by Today&#039;s Devotion: Praise First! … “if we don&#039;t see answered prayer &#8230; &#124; Nail It To The Cross</title>

<title>Comment on Scott Ingram: Christians Who Don&#8217;t Love God &#8230; &#8220;what I find is that there is a great number of people who live however they want to in whatever kind of sin pleases them. There is no love for God or desire to pursue Him. There is no fear that there may be consequences for their actions. They simply go about in the style of Romans 1:28, not even seeing it fit to acknowledge God&#8230;&#8221; by christianoutreachnow.com - Scott Ingram: Christians Who Don&#039;t Love God … “what I find is that &#8230;</title>
