Heart of God India wishes to extend a warm thank you for your involvement in this ministry. Every donation, every prayer, every positive comment made has been greatly appreciated. Please celebrate with us over God’s grace, His plan and provision in 2011. We are counting on you for your heartfelt prayers over this ministry for 2012.
This year we celebrate a wonderful School of the Bible, where our Indian pastors gather to study the Word and pray together. In March we were able to rejoice as each of our Pastors completed another year of study. Each pastor was honored with badge and color as they received a gift to help them study the Word more effectively.
Also honored was our first lady as she completed her theology training and attended a convocation service. Pastor was recognized and honored as well, as he was asked to pray over the graduates during the ceremony. We are very proud of our head pastor and his wife. Please remember to pray for this wonderful couple and the rest of our pastors. Our pastors are very faithful and we are very humbled to be joined together with them in ministry.
In addition to our team of pastors, our orphans are witnessing and sharing His Word. We are at maximum capacity in our orphanage but we have several more children waiting for help. Our children just finished a Christmas outreach to their Hindu neighbors where they gave handmade gifts as they witnessed of Christ. Our orphans are heavily involved in church activities and enjoy praising the Lord, participating in dramas, Sunday school, and outreach One of our children wants to be an evangelist!
We now have three leper colonies. The lepers, in spite of their physical ailments, are avid worshippers of God. There are many needs within the leper colonies, however, and they need daily covering with prayer.
God is calling us to expand and begin a plan to cover the nation of India with evangelism activity and outreach. Each year we add new areas to this ministry and our pastors are stretched thin. This is a very serious calling that requires much prayer. Please join with us.
We have volunteer opportunities open should you feel led to donate your resource of time. Please contact me if you would like to serve on our prayer team. We also have a need for someone to coordinate our Pastor Sponsorship Program. Other needs include social media administrator, fundraising coordinator and web content. If you would like to donate your resource of funds, you can donate generally into India or into specific support for the pastors, the orphans or the lepers. If you feel called to GO into the mission field, please contact me for more information as there is ample opportunity for ministry.
